Pulse Instruments announces CompactPCI
Analog Stimulus Cards
February 16, 2001
Pulse Instruments is pleased to announce
our new CompactPCI
? Analog Stimulus cards:
- The PI-41400 is a dual channel
clock driver with a clock rate of up to 230MHz into a 50-ohm load and up to 90 MHz at an amplitude of 8 volts into a 1-megohm
load
- The PI-41700 is a dual channel card
with +/- 8 VDC Bias outputs that can provide an
output current of 100 mA per channel. The PI-41700 has programmable current limits,
plus voltage and current sense for remote measurement of the voltage and current
levels
- The PI-41701 This enhanced version
of the PI-41700 has special filter circuitry to reduce the output noise for those applications that require a low noise bias output. Additionally there is a ?D? type connector that allows
the introduction of laboratory type supplies to reduce the noise
further
As a test or design engineer you must have state-of-the-art tools to test, characterize and verify your complex semiconductor devices and circuit boards.
These new Bias and Driver cards, together with the PI-2005
Pattern Generator, are the foundation of a modular, high- performance, low-cost test
instrument series from Pulse Instruments.

Pulse Instruments announces PI-2005 Pattern
Generator
January 26, 2001
Pulse Instruments is pleased to announce the PI-2005 Pattern Generator.
Based on the CompactPCI
? architecture, the PI-2005 is both affordable and
scalable, and its small footprint puts it at home either in the laboratory or on
the production floor.
Typical applications include device characterization, FPA testing,
producing complex digital patterns or digital timing for systems, and
verification of DAC, FPGA and ASIC devices.
The PI-2005 features a 225 MHz clock rate, multi-level looping, 64 K
memory depth, and start/stop trigger inputs. 16 to 64 channels are available,
and pricing starts at $11,980.
